We’ve learnt from local media the delaying of the referendum on autonomy in Veneto to 2017. A very serious matter, shedding light on a Venetian Council who constantly delude and forget the promises made to Venetians during election time. Zaia (Veneto's governor) did not even show the courage to announce it in person, delegating instead to the council member Bottaccin the announcement of yet again a new failure of the North League on every front of the fight for Venetian self government.
We’re facing a venetian government that raises it's voice about independence, but it's then not even able to call, within a reasonable time, a referendum concerning a very moderate level of autonomy within the italian state, after receiving a refusal from the central government to an election day (together with the referendum on the constitutional reform). How embarrassing for the present and future of Venetian politics.
This constitutes another lost occasion of the Venetian council to lead the change in Veneto. A matter that demonstrates the lack of political planning and independence of Zaia, the philistines of his council and the pro independence members of the coalition governing Veneto.
Moreover, we keep on firmly condemning the italian central(ist) government, that not allowing the merge of the autonomic and constitutional referendums has yet another time demonstrated its rampant demophobic attitudes
